Backup Storage is a supplementary off-server storage space that is accessible only from an associated server using FTP, SMB, and NFS protocols, or BorgBackups.
By enabling Backup Storage you get a pre-configured storage space that is only accessible from the selected server. After connecting to a server with Backup Storage enabled, you should select the data you want to backup and copy it to the Backup Storage space yourself by using your preferred data replication method like curl for FTP, or rsync for NFS protocol.
No, you can only connect to your Backup Storage space from an IP address that you own at Cherry Servers.
